BIO

Dr. Brandon Wilde is a professional counselor and counselor educator and has taught in CACREP accredited counseling programs since 2007.  He has over 10 years of experience teaching and supervising Clinical Mental Health, Addiction, and MCFC (Marital, Couple, and Family Counseling) masters students, as well as experience advising doctoral students in Counselor Education and Supervision. As the 2017 recipient of the CACREP Martin Ritchie Award for Excellence in Advocacy, Dr. Wilde is passionate about promoting a strong action-oriented advocacy identity both in and outside of the classroom. In addition to over thirty peer-reviewed presentations at national, regional, and state counseling conferences, Dr. Wilde has published in The Qualitative Report; Counseling & Values; The Family Journal; The Romanian Journal of Counseling; and The Practitioner Scholar: Journal of Professional Counseling & Psychology and has served as a chapter faculty advisor for Chi Sigma Iota: Academic and Professional Counseling Honor Society, International. Dr. Wilde loves trips to National Parks and any beach where he spends time with his family.
