Bio:
Dixie Overton has been working as a technical project manager for a financial services Fortune 100 company for the past 22 years. She earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute in 2005, and the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award from Toastmasters International in 2018.
Dixie lives in West Des Moines, Iowa with her Japanese Chin dog, Neko. Neko is a registered therapy dog and they had been visiting senior communities weekly since 2011, until COVID put an end to that in March 2020.
