Dr. Gasan Elkhodari is a ‘Principal Member of Technical Staff’ at Verizon Communications with 18 years of experience in software development and system engineering. He is responsible for application development, solution architecture, and design utilizing Data Science including Big Data Analytics and ecosystems.
As a senior data science analyst, big data, and solution architect, Dr. Elkhodari has implemented several solutions for workforce analytics and planning teams, Verizon enterprise solutions ( VES) for supply chain and finance including network optimizations, demand planning, and forecasting.
Dr. Elkhodari is an author of “Mobile Broadband – Bridging the Gaps for Successful Deployment and Implementation”. His research study focuses on LTE Advanced solutions as a leading technology for next-generation mobile broadband, 4G, 5G, and beyond. It addresses the gap between the required data demand and capacity performance that technology evolution provides. He also developed a module for Network planning to calculate the minimum licensed spectrum needed by 2020 to overcome the spectrum scarcity and network resources limitations. In the same context, he was a Guest Speaker at 5G North America represented Verizon for the topic: "Big Data – How 5G will change the face of data analytics"
