Bio:
Dr. Margo's accomplishments are because of her father's service in the Korean War.  Because of her parent’s commitment to the pursuit of excellence, wisdom, drive, and encouragement, Dr. Margo found strength in her educational journey.  Dr. Margo is the first to earn higher-level degrees in her family and comes from humble beginnings, a family of “panaderos” (Spanish for bakers) and “rancheros” (Spanish for ranchers). 
She has over twenty-five years of corporate experience leading Talent Management, Organizational Culture Development, and Change Management teams serving in highly complex programs in the Program Management Office.  She is a subject matter expert and has been consulting across multiple industries, including banking, finance, risk management, and various government channels, such as the programs within the Department of Defense, Department of Labor, Department of Education, Department of Commerce, and the state department supporting workforce development efforts. 

Because change affects so many individuals with a high level of stress, Dr. Margo researched ways to manage stress during change for creating organizational health from the individual employee perspective (Moreno, Rhode, Raphael, DeNigris, 2020).  Reflected in statistics on stress were $300 billion in annual costs concerning health and employee absenteeism (American Psychological Association, 2017; Stress.org, 2019).  Premised on quantitative correlation and according to the research, Hope, Efficacy, Resilience, and Optimism (HERO) are primary components of Psychological Capital (PsyCap) that can provide coping techniques to better manage change (Luthans, Avolio, and Avey, 2017). 

Dr. Margo holds a bachelor's degree in business in management, a master's degree of business administration with a focus in global management, and a Doctor of Business Administration.   Dr. Margo holds professional designations in the following areas:  ProSci Change Management Practitioner Certification®, Project Management Professional (PMP™), Society of Human Resources Management -Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®), Professional in Human Resources (PHR®), and Human Resources Management (HRM™).  

In academia, Dr. Margo designs, delivers, and deploys educational programs and curricula for universities and is a professor delivering and delivering curricula in program management, human resource management, and finance.  
Domains of knowledge include PsyCap, Transformational Leadership, Program Management, finance, tax compliance, strategic business launches, strategic human resource management, emotional intelligence, diversity, equity, and inclusion design.  Special appointments include being called on her expertise with major Universities to spirit program design, instruction, and workforce development efforts.  

Dr. Margo’s has a passion for program design, workforce development, and service to underserved communities within local governments and rural communities.  Dr. Margo receives invitations to grow and develop team members and chief leaders within the  strategy, risk, technoloy, and compliance teams. 

Dr. Margo is the Chapter and Founding President Emeritus of the National Society of Leadership and Success University of Phoenix, the Founder and President of the Psychological Capital Institute, and the CEO and Founder of Business Intelligence Consulting.  She volunteers with various non-profits including the Schultz Family Foundation through the Institute for Veterans and Military Family Members, Habitat for Humanity, Earn-A-Bike Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, the Project Management Institute, and other non-profits.  Additionally, Dr. Margo is an avid reader.  Her primary love is spending time with her grandchild, Rory.  On weekends you will find her cycling to raise money with her team for non-profits.

Publications/Presentations/Lectures:
As recently as 2022, presentations to Dr. Margo to present span presentations at Plenaries, Symposiums, Faculty Development workshops, the Alamo Train the Trainer workshops, and Knowledge Without Boundaries conferences.  Dr. Margo is currently working on research to further the body of knowledge regarding change and PsyCap during epic program efforts.
