Dr. Richmond Ikechukwu Ibe is an Adjunct professor of computer science at the University of Cumberlands. Dr. Ibe is currently researching on "The analysis of how the cost of a Cyber-security Data breach could be Quantified." The research was presented as a short paper to the ITNG conference and was accepted as the ITNG 2020- Conference Best Short Paper. The Award will be presented at the 2021 Conference in Vegas.

From 2003-2006, Dr. Ibe worked at Services Electronics/Gateway Computer Incorporated in Dallas, Texas, as an IT project lead in PC repairs and assembling. Dr. Ibe was rehired to manage IT projects for Teleplan/Gateway after earning an MBA.

Dr. Ibe has published a couple of Journals in IT Management and received a Presidential Dissemination Award for 2013-2014 from Walden University. Dr. Ibe belongs to several professional organizations such as the Project Management Institute (PMI), Information Systems Auditors and Control Association (ISACA), and the American Management Association. Dr. Ibe served as the Faculty Advisor for Delta Mu Delta, an honor society in the school of business at Jarvis Christian College.
