Bio:
Dr. Sethuraman Srinivas (Sethu) has 25+ years of experience in the information technology industry with a current focus on the Cybersecurity domain. He is a seasoned information technology executive with special focus on information security governance, security analytics, big data, intrusion detection, metrics and program management. He was recently part of IBM’s managed security services for 7 years. Dr. Sethuraman started as a software developer, and other popular roles held by him were software development manager, Oracle specialist, and database architect. He has successfully published Cybersecurity academic papers in peer-reviewed journals (IEEE, ACM, ARPN & EURASIP), and his research interests are in the area of security analytics, Cybersecurity, GRC, privacy databases, risk frameworks, big data and governance automation. His hobbies include classical music and astronomy. Dr. Sethuraman lives in the SFO Bay area with his family, and is a big Warriors fan.
