Dr. Terrance Knox holds a PhD in Management with a specialization in Engineering Management and a master’s degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Information/Cybersecurity from Walden University. Dr. Knox also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from American InterContinental University, and he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Technical Management from DeVry University.
Dr. Knox is a committed lifelong learner with a passion for teaching students in higher education in Business Management, Data Mining, Information Reinforcement of Positive Technology, Cybersecurity Project Management, and Decision Sciences and Leadership courses. He knows that today’s students seek a college education that has immediate relevance and applicability to their future professional careers, and he believes that education is the key to becoming who you want to become. Dr. Knox’s core teaching philosophy involves assisting students by delivering discipline-specific knowledge, promoting critical thinking skills, and reinforcing positive life-skill behaviors in a way that is beneficial to their personal and professional lives.
A long-standing member of Toastmaster International, the John Maxwell Team, Project Management Institute (PMI), ISACA, and the International System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2, Dr. Knox currently works as a consultant in security and project management. His hobbies include working out and watching sports, and he enjoys traveling and attending conferences.
