Dr. Zadok Hakim is the Program Director, MS Information Technology, and Associate Professor of Information Systems & Cybersecurity at the University of the Cumberlands. Dr. Hakim has 15+ years of experience in the organizational stewardship in the IT and educational field with an extensive background in telecommunications, infrastructure design, information systems, and Cybersecurity. As an engineer, businessman, and corporate executive, he has global expertise in the telecommunications and in the energy sectors. Through both individual and joint ventures, he has established Internet, Private Line, Cellular and various consulting companies in several countries around the world.

His research interest lies in Information Systems and Cybersecurity, to include Cloud Computing Adaption, Cyber Attacks, Security Countermeasures and its impact on IS Misuse, and Internet of Thing (IoT), Protecting Firms'Intellectual Property from Cyber Attack.

Outside the educational field, Dr. Hakim serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of TrigGen Energy PD and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shanghai Chengbang Auto Accessories Co. LTD. Recently joined the Editorial Review Board of the International Institute of Applied Management, and serves as member of the Qualitative Report Editorial Board at NSU.
