Enterprise Data Science in Practice - ITS 230 & ITS 333
ITS 230: An introduction to network security, compliance, operation security, threats, vulnerabilities, application security, and host security. Other topics that will be discussed include access control, identity management, and cryptography. Credit 3 hours. Offered Spring Semesters.
ITS 333: An introduction to design, implementation, and troubleshooting of data center components. Topics covered will include network diagrams and topologies, virtual LANs, layer 2 switching, IPv4, IPv6, and routing protocols. Credit 3 hours. Prerequisite ITSI 332. Offered Spring Semesters.
Students who complete this certification can expect to learn how to:
- Demonstrate skills & understanding of the Data Science methodology by engaging in real-wold scenarios & role-playing the process/tools used by a data science team to address real-world enterprise challenges in the insurance industry leveraging cutting-edge fraud analytics approaches & technologies.
