UC Book Club - When the Jessamine Grows

Join the UC Book Club on Wednesday, June 25, at 4 p.m. Via Google Meet for When the Jessamine Grows by Donna Everhart.  Everhart is known for her careful research that personalizes the sweep of history.  In an interview, Everhart emphasizes how she used this novel to focus on a female left behind and on subsistence farming amid the backdrop of the Civil War.
