Community Outreach Guidelines

Mountain Outreach plans to develop a relationship with local agencies to provide additional assistance to those in need.  These agencies include: The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Job Shop, Health Department, local government officials, law enforcement, etc.

Areas of on-going service can include but will not be limited to:

  • Whitley County Schools
  • Williamsburg City Schools
  • Corbin City Schools
  • Jellico City Schools
  • Homeless Shelter
  • Nursing Homes

Program staff will work with the local church network to establish good working relationships.  These relationships will help identify projects that will inspire active participation by local church groups.  It will also provide churches with the opportunity to help people with which they have a personal connection.  To ensure the quality of work, Mountain Outreach will assist, monitor, and supervise all projects and activities.
