Dr. Michelle K. Preiksaitis is a doctoral Associate Professor for the University of the Cumberlands, working in the business school. She owns Coastal Organizational Research and Learning Strategies, LLC and its subsidiary, CORALS' Journal of Applied Business. She is a strategic planning and talent management consultant, providing customized business services to small and medium-sized businesses, especially start-ups.

Her previous work experiences include building doctoral curricula as the Program Director, overseeing, mentoring, and chairing doctoral students and their dissertations, administering an online business management university program as the Associate Dean and Associate Professor, training new faculty to the online paradigm, and litigating (appeals and trials) as an Associate Attorney in Illinois.

She loves helping others with research and problem-solving. She spends her spare time with her husband, Capt. Ray and her mini-goldendoodle Sparky. On lucky weekends, she grandmothers her grandchildren, Colby, Leni, Asa, and Ali.
