This course is the study of methods and materials suitable for teaching English at various public school grade levels. The intent is to introduce teachers to the burgeoning theories of teaching the various elements of an English class. Students will research the field of English instruction, develop a variety of daily and unit plans that incorporate new techniques and theories, practice writing evaluation, and study strategies suitable to English instruction. 3 semester hours.
