Degree Completion Process

University of the Cumberlands approves the conferring of degrees six times per year. These conferral dates represent confirmation that all degree requirements have been met by that date. The Official conferral date is posted to the student’s academic transcript and is the date printed on the diploma.

Diplomas are produced and mailed to students after all final grades are reviewed and it has been confirmed that all degree requirements have been met. The graduation confirmation process takes several weeks to complete. Students will receive a confirmation email of Congratulations once the process is complete. At this time the official degree date will be posted on the students’ transcript and available to request.
