Bachelor in Missions & Ministry Degree Requirements

This theology degree seeks to provide an understanding of biblical literature, history, theology and ethics; helping bachelors in ministry students apply the Christian faith to daily life in word and deed; and develop the skills needed to engage in effective Christian missions and ministry in the 21st century.

The general theology degree requirements for graduation from the University of the Cumberlands are the completion of at least 128 credit hours including General Education.

  • 76 semester hours required in the sections of General Education
  • 31 semester hours required in Bachelor Core Requirements
  • 21 semester hours required from Elective Courses

Elective Courses

You may choose any of the courses that are offered within the School of Lifelong Learning. If a course has a pre-requisite, as long as you meet the requirements, and have not previously taken it, you can take the class.
