Pre-Engineering Mission and Goals

What is pre-engineering? The program goal of pre-engineering at University of the Cumberlands is to provide a solid academic foundation in the areas of math and physics, helping students cultivate critical-thinking skills, apply physical principles, develop skills in experimental physics and extend their mathematical knowledge. Most students in pre-engineering begin their undergraduate studies as math or physics majors before applying to an engineering school after two or three years of undergraduate coursework.
