This course provides students with an introduction to the fundamental concepts of macro and microeconomics. In the macroeconomics portion of the course, students will study aggregate sectors of the economy covering principles that determine total output, total employment, and total price levels. In studying microeconomics, students will survey principles of allocation of resources, distribution of income and operation of the price system. This course serves as a prerequisite for the MBA Managerial Economics course. It is designed for students who entered the program without a Foundational Economics course (Macro- or Microeconomics).
