HLTH431. Public Health Administration

HLTH 431 is a study of the financial and personnel management concepts and practices applied to health programs. Fundamentals of budgeting, public health laws, cost-containment, grant writing, marketing and leadership qualities are addressed. Students are required to design a community health program and a budget to demonstrate effective program implementation. HLTH 230 is recommended but not required. Credit, 3 hours. Offered spring semesters.
