NURS672. FNP Advanced Practice II

Provides theoretical and diagnostic knowledge necessary to encounter problems relevant to the health care of individuals across the life span. Emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of common health problems. Allows students the opportunity to gain FNP clinical experience working alongside an experienced provider and allows for the supervised practice of the integration of theoretical and diagnostic knowledge. Emphasis is on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of common health problems in both the individual and family across the life span. Builds on NRSOL 670. Prerequisites: NRSOL 670, with a minimum grade of B. Credit: 6 hours
