BROL702. Applied Statistics

This course will provide students with a foundation in the application of statistical techniques and methods. The material covered in this course will include a conceptual understanding and practical application of data entry, analysis, and interpretation. Topics covered include descriptive statistics, statistical tests, regression analysis, and statistical analysis techniques, among others.Students will learn to critique and interpret quantitative research articles.Upon completion of this course, students will create an empirical research project that will include application, analysis, and interpretation of a quantitative data set. Prerequisite: BROL 701 Research Methods and Design or permission from the Program Director. Credit, 3 hours.
