24/7 Virtual Mental Health with TimelyCare
University of the Cumberlands provides students, faculty, and staff members free, secure virtual mental health care through TimelyCare, the most trusted virtual health and well-being solution for learning communities. Equitable access to mental health support and basic needs assistance is available to all enrolled students.

Through TimelyCare on their phone or other device, students can now select from a wide-ranging menu of virtual care options from licensed counselors at no cost and without the barrier of traditional insurance. Faculty and staff also have access to support that empowers them to guide students to TimelyCare resources.
- TalkNow: 24/7, on-demand emotional support to talk about anything, including anxiety, relationships, depression, and school-related stressors.
- Scheduled Counseling: Choose the day, time, and mental health provider that works best for you. (Six visits per year)
- CrisisNow: 24/7 Phone-based Crisis Support (859)222-9019.
- Health Coaching: Develop healthy lifestyle behaviors for nutrition, sleep habits, time management, and mindfulness.
- Basic Needs Support: Access to free or reduced-cost community resources, including food and housing assistance, transit support, childcare, and finances.
- Self-Care Content: Visit the Self-Care tab within TimelyCare for guided self-care content.
- Peer Community: An anonymous and judgment-free space where you can connect with, react to, and support other students going through similar situations.

To schedule an appointment for counseling services, fill out the webform below and provide brief information of what type of counseling or mental health services you are seeking and your availability. The counseling center will email back with a time that can work for you. In your first appointment, you will meet with your new counselor and do an intake assessment to determine your current state and go over exactly what you would like to work on. Your counselor will schedule follow-up appointments from there on.
