Dr. Dexter Francis is a business and technology teacher who is passionate about extending the educational opportunities to students from diverse backgrounds. He is committed to helping students identify and develop their own passions while becoming familiar with academic concepts. He has worked in the IT field for over 19 years. He currently manages a software development team that develops and maintains an application that collects data on Untied States military aircraft fighters. He is currently pursuing his Certified Information Systems Security Profession (CISSP) certification. Most of his cybersecurity interest lie in user authentication and identification using biometrics. He is also involved in a few projects where innovative medical devices are being designed using features from mobile phones.   Lastly, he is a member of the following organizations: InfraGard, ISC2, and PMI California.
