Dr. Laura Brock joined the University of the Cumberlands faculty in June 2019. Prior to that time, Dr. Brock worked as a manager in the automotive manufacturing industry and taught as an adjunct professor of business. Her teaching and research interests include strategic management, biblical integration in business, business history, and ethics. Professor Brock is a three-time graduate of the University of the Cumberlands and is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for Business and Administration (past-president), the Eta Beta Rho Hebrew Honor Society, the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society for Excellence in Freshmen Studies, the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society for History (past-historian), the J.T. Vallandingham Scholastic Honor Society, and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. 

Dr. Brock is a certified Governance Risk and Compliance Professional (GRCP) and Integrated Compliance and Ethics Professional (ICEP) with the Open Compliance and Ethics Group. She is also a member of the Association of Supply Chain Management, Sales Management Association, and Christian Business Faculty Association. In addition to her role at UC, she serves as the Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) Director for Swiss Colony Baptist Church. Dr. Brock enjoys books, crafting, history, herbalism, beekeeping, and farming.
