Bridge the Gap virtual course begins at Cumberlands

University of the Cumberlands has partnered with Spalding University and F2F – Bridging the Gap this summer to offer a virtual course on “bridging the gap.” Through the course, undergraduate students met virtually to engage in dialogue that crossed political, cultural, and experiential boundaries as a way to increase cultural competence and empathy on Cumberlands’ campus.

University of the Cumberlands honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a campus-wide day of service and volunteer work on Monday, January 18. COVID-19 safety precautions somewhat affected this year’s service day, yet Cumberlands students still came together to accomplish a number of projects while respecting CDC guidelines.
