The School of Computer and Information Sciences strives for excellence in creating, applying, and imparting knowledge in information technology. Upon completion of this Executive Master's in Data Science program, you will be prepared for an advanced role in an interdisciplinary field focused on extracting knowledge from large data sets and applying the knowledge to provide insight in a wide variety of disciplines. You will use best practices to:
- Formatting data for analysis
- Determining the algorithm used for the analysis, processing the data, creating a plan of action based on the analysis
- Presenting the results in an easy-to-understand format
University of the Cumberlands has been named a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). There are just over 200 universities nationwide with CAE-CD designation, and only two other universities in Kentucky included in this elite group.
