Welcome to residence life at the University of the Cumberlands! With a variety of housing options available to undergraduate students, we strongly believe living on campus can help you make the most of your UC experience. From late night study sessions to impromptu hangouts, campus housing offers some amazing opportunities. Below, you can apply for on-campus housing and also learn more about our residence halls. Welcome home!

New Students

STEP 1: CREATE YOUR UNIVERSITY ACCOUNT

  1. Go to inside.ucumberlands.edu/it
  2. Click "How do I get an email account?”
  3. Complete all information fields
  4. Note: Your University Account will be active in 5 minutes for Webmail and MyUC. It will NOT be active for Housing Portal for 24 hours.

STEP 2: COMPLETE HOUSING APPLICATION

  1. Go to the Housing Portal
  2. Click "Applications"
  3. Select "New & Transfer Student Housing Application"
  4. Complete all questions

STEP 3: RECEIVE HOUSING ASSIGNMENT

  1. Student Services will contact you with more information.
  2. Housing assignments are announced mid-June.

Returning Students

STEP 1: COMPLETE HOUSING CONTRACT

  1. Go to the Housing Portal
  2. Click the "Applications" tab
  3. Click "Housing Contract"
  4. Complete all questions

STEP 2: ROOMMATE SELECTION

  1. Go to the Housing Portal
  2. Click the "Room and Roommate Selection" tab
  3. Click "Roommates/Suitemates"
  4. Click "Fall Term"
  5. Search for a roommate

STEP 3: ROOM SELECTION

  1. Go to the Housing Portal
  2. Click the "Room and Roommate Selection" tab
  3. Click "Select a Room or Suite"
  4. After filling in your preferences, click "Find Available Rooms"
  5. Review available rooms
  6. Select your room by clicking "I Agree - Submit My Room Selection"
