Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education Degree Requirements

As part of University of the Cumberlands' Bachelor’s degree requirements, each student must complete at least 128 semester hours, including those within the major and the coursework required in the sections of General Education listed below:

  • 78 semester hours required in the sections of General Education
  • 15 semester hours required in the sections of Early Childhood Foundations & Related Studies
  • 51 semester hours required in the sections of Professional Education

Blended Online Format

Coursework for this program will be offered primarily in a synchronous, online format. However, some general education core courses will be offered in a blended online format using Blackboard in the asynchronous environment, as well as face-to-face interactions, similar to University of the Cumberland’s graduate programs through:

  • Clinical/Practicum/Student-Teaching Observations
  • Co-Teaching Professional Development
  • Individual Advising Sessions
  • On-Site seminars
