Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education Degree Requirements

As part of University of the Cumberlands’ Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education online degree requirements, each student must complete at least 128 semester hours, including those within the major and the coursework required to fulfill the degree requirements within:

  • General Education
  • Early Childhood Foundations & Related Studies
  • Professional Education

Blended Online Format

Early Childhood Education Degree courses will be offered primarily in a synchronous, online format. However, some general education core courses will be offered in a blended online format using Blackboard in the asynchronous environment, as well as face-to-face interactions through:

  • Clinical/Practicum/Student-Teaching Observations
  • Co-Teaching Professional Development
  • Individual Advising Sessions
  • On-Site seminars
