University of the Cumberlands is committed to providing an exceptional education at a reasonable cost. UC's cost of tuition, room and board remains below the national average for private four-year colleges and universities.
At UC, there are a number of resources available to you, even if you and your family can only afford to pay a portion of your college expenses. Financial aid options include loans, grants, scholarships and work-study programs.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available to traditional undergraduate students attending classes on campus. Amounts can range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars.
GRANTS
Grants are given based on many different criteria. Some may require a minimum grade point average (GPA), ACT or SAT score, or level of financial need.
WORK-STUDY
The Federal Work-Study Program is a program that utilizes federal funds to provide a way for students with financial need to earn money to help pay any educational expenses.
LOANS
There are many different types of student loans available. There are even loan programs for parents of college students.
