Dr. Greg Benson is an experienced educator and researcher specializing in higher education, leadership, statistical analysis, and employee retention. He currently serves as an adjunct professor and dissertation chair, guiding doctoral students through their research and contributing to the academic community. His research focuses on faculty engagement, leadership effectiveness, and strategies for improving employee retention in modern workplaces.
With a background in both education and business administration, Dr. Benson has worked extensively in higher education, K-12 Education, and Leadership roles. He is the co-founder of Benson-Taylor Consulting, providing leadership and employee retention consulting for a variety of companies. He is also skilled in implementing and integrating innovative instructional methods into leadership and business programs. His expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods allows him to contribute to data-driven decision-making in academia and organizational leadership.
Dr. Benson is actively involved in professional organizations and has presented at national and international conferences. He was selected to present his Math Outside the Classroom program at the 2025 Knowledge, Innovation, and Enterprise (KIE) International Conference in Lisbon, Portugal. Additionally, he is contributing a chapter to the forthcoming book The Power of Creative Thinking: Identifying and Solving Problems in Business, Education, and Society.
When not teaching or researching, Dr. Benson enjoys engaging in outdoor activities including hiking, Jeeping, travel, and watersports like SCUBA and surfing. He resides in Southern Utah, where he continues to develop innovative educational programs that bridge the gap between theory and practice.
