Dr. Korey Bruck serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Doctoral Leadership program at the University of the Cumberlands with over 10 years of experience in higher education focusing on student success/retention, academic advising, student affairs, and higher education law. In addition to his faculty role, Dr. Bruck works in higher education administration, where he has held various leadership roles in both public and private institutions. He is currently the Director of the University Center of Southern Kentucky at Somerset Community College, helping students transition from a 2-year degree path to a 4-year degree path working with multiple 4-year (public & private) colleges and universities on Somerset’s campus.

In keeping with his professional experiences, his academic and research interest focus on student success, student retention, rural advocacy, and higher education law. Bruck has designed courses for both undergraduate and graduate work, taught courses, presented, and published articles related to these specialties. He is also a member of several related professional and academic organizations.
