Dr. Sheril King began her P-12 education career in 1995. In 2013, Dr. King joined the University of the Cumberlands as an adjunct professor while maintaining a full-time position in P-12 education.

Over the course of her career, Dr. King has worked with students from kindergarten to high school, but has found she enjoys middle school aged students the most. Dr. King has spent over half of her career serving as a library media specialist where she grew to love technology and literacy.

In her spare time, Dr. King enjoys fishing, reading, sewing, and playing World of Warcraft.
