17th Annual Business Forum for Young Professionals

The Hutton School of Business is proud to announce the 17th Annual Business Forum for Young Professionals scheduled for March 26, 2026, on the beautiful campus of the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. 

The Business Forum is a simulated business conference designed to prepare young professionals as they enter the business workforce. On the day of the Forum, concurrent speakers present in two sessions, while a keynote speaker presents in one main session. 

Each year, more than 200 students attend the Business Forum. In the fifteen (16) years of the Business Forum, more than 3,000 Cumberlands students have had the opportunity to network with more than 65 successful business people willing to share their professional advice and experiences.

As with any professional conference, all students must pre-register and choose which sessions to attend. Students not only attend the Forum sessions but critique each session's value as part of their educational experience. They are encouraged to ask questions and engage the speakers in conversation.

Breck Jones
Founder and CEO US WorldMeds

Paul Breckinridge “Breck” Jones, a self-described serial entrepreneur, stepped back from a successful real estate business in Louisville to start a specialty pharma company in 2001, known as US WorldMeds. Based in Louisville, the company develops and markets healthcare products that improve the lives of patients with unmet medical needs.

US WorldMeds is noted for having secured FDA approval of all five products it’s prosecuted and has earned recognition as a “Best Place to Work” by the Kentucky Chamber and KY Society for Human Resource Management for six of the past seven years.

Rubem Rodriguez
Head of Athletic Development Nashville Soccer Club

Rubem Rodriguez, an alumnus of the University, has a wealth of experience and expertise reflecting his dedication to developing athletes at all levels. From a successful seven-year tenure leading the Berea College Mountaineer Soccer Program to a prominent role as the Head of Athletic Development within Nashville Soccer Club, Rubem boasts a diverse background in soccer coaching and athletic development. A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Rubem holds numerous certifications, including a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “B” Coaching License, the Premier Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches Association of America, EXOS Performance Specialist, and Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Angelia Foster
President Baptist Health Corbin

Angelia Foster brings over 15 years of extensive healthcare leadership experience, serving as president of Baptist Health Corbin, a 273-bed acute care facility providing comprehensive services to a large multi-county region. Prior to this, she was president of Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam, overseeing a diverse range of healthcare services. Her leadership is marked by navigating complex challenges, including guiding her team through the initial COVID-19 shutdown and managing a surge in cases, resulting in significant media attention. Angelia has a proven track record of strategic recruitment, patient-centered care advocacy, and previous executive roles at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers and Memorial Health System. She holds a master’s degree in management and organizational behavior and a bachelor’s in political science and communications.

Victoria Paynter
Special Agent United States Secret Service

Victoria Paynter, an alumnus of the University, is a highly accomplished criminal investigator with the United States Secret Service, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise and tactical experience. With a Master of Science in Digital Forensics and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she has a strong educational foundation to support her practical skills in cyber fraud investigations, technical security, and aviation and airspace security. Victoria’s career is marked by significant achievements, including managing high-level transnational investigations, coordinating security for National Special Security Events, and developing advanced counter-UAS security plans. She has also demonstrated leadership as a Search and Arrest Warrant Team Member and a Group Leader for Network Intrusion and Internet Investigations Squad.

Special Agent United States Secret Service

Kirtley Kinman, an alumnus of the University, is a highly skilled Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, specializing in criminal investigations related to financial obligations, fraud, and threats against protectees. With a Master of Science in Justice Administration, his expertise spans from conducting complex investigations and serving prosecutorial documents to protective operations for high-profile individuals. He has received the Director Impact Award and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network Director's Law Enforcement Award for Cyber Threats, underscoring his significant contributions. Kirtley also has experience in protective intelligence, pre-employment reviews, and leading a COVID-19 fraud task force, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to service.

Michael McClellan is a seasoned Creative Design and Digital Marketing specialist with 25+ years of experience, focusing on impactful digital marketing campaigns and measurable results. He excels in SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and social media management, driving conversions through data-driven strategies. His achievements include rebuilding websites with enhanced SEO, restructuring SEO strategies for increased traffic, and significantly improving Google Analytics metrics and sales growth in previous roles.
