Caleb Davis serves as the Academic Affairs Coordinator at the University of the Cumberlands. With over a decade of experience studying and teaching religion, his academic interests focus on theology, the psychology of religion, and the philosophy of religion. He is particularly interested in how beliefs are formed, maintained, and transformed, as well as the relationship between religious experience, cognition, and human behavior. Beyond his work in academia, Caleb has a passion for psychology, neuroscience, and cosmology, and enjoys exploring questions related to meaning, human origins, and the nature of the universe. He believes that education is most impactful when it fosters critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Caleb married his wife, Kelsey, a registered nurse, in 2024. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, quiet evenings with his wife, and peaceful walks. A fun fact: he is a Kentucky State Champion in Judo.
