Connor McJunkin is the current Communications Manager for the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, where he works to create and publicize messaging that advances the commonwealth's business recruitment, retention and expansion efforts. Upon graduating from the University of the Cumberlands, he briefly served as the Managing Editor for a small marketing company before transitioning into coaching and support roles within college athletics, working as an assistant coach and social media coordinator/graphic designer for both the University of the Cumberlands and Centre College football programs. Alongside his work in athletics and state government, Mr. McJunkin serves as a freelance graphic designer, collaborating with high school and collegiate athletic programs across the country to help with recruiting efforts and improve their brand's digital presence. In addition to his professional career, Mr. McJunkin enjoys living in Somerset, KY with his wife Haley, daughter, Elliott and their family dog, Dixie. He spends his free time as an assistant coach and Booster Club President for the Somerset High School football program, listening to history and sports related audiobooks and staying active in the gym.
