Dr. El-Amin has nearly two decades of experience and education in Business Administration as an educator and practitioner. Professionally, she has worked in the Human Rights Department of Lexington Urban County Government as an EEOC specialist; The Social Security Administration as a Claims Representative, Lexmark International, as a business analyst, marketing, and communications buyer; Sara Lee Corporation as a Territory Manager; Delta Airlines (passenger services) and American Airlines (customer service); The City of Dubuque as Executive Director/Diversity Officer, and Bellevue University as a Regional Relationship Manager. Further, as a higher education professor, she has designed and developed curriculum and training programs in business administration, educational leadership, political sciences, and health sciences. She has managed large corporate and government budgets; managed staff and developed sustainable programs.
