Dr. Angelica Woods-Smith is an adjunct professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Fifteen years in the counseling profession, Dr. Woods-Smith has experience in rehabilitation counseling, community mental health, group private practice, program management, and student support services in higher education and now contributes her expertise as a newly counselor educator. She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), American Rehabilitation Counseling Association (ARCA), Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), American College Counseling Association (ACCA), Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD), Tennessee Counseling Association (TCA), and Mississippi Counseling Association (MCA). 
Dr. Woods-Smith resides in Memphis, TN with her husband and son. She loves all things Memphis, traveling, reading and finding any reason to spend time with her large extended family.
