Dr. Moulton is an Adjunct Professor in the Master’s in Global Business with Blockchain Technology Program at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY.  He previously taught undergraduate economics courses as a lecturer at George Mason University.

His current research focuses on monetary theory in a bitcoin economy, adopting bitcoin as a country’s monetary system, and transactional financial privacy.  He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California.  He founded and helps administrate the Alt-M (alternative money) blog for the Cato Institute.

In his free time Dr. Moulton streams chess on Twitch, engages in political activism through the Libertarian Party, and powerlifts.
