Christopher Rodriguez, DBA, currently serves in healthcare administration in Houston, Texas. He served in the United States Army from 2011 to 2018 and is a retired U.S. Army Sergeant. He has received multiple awards for outstanding performance and professionalism, including two Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. He has served in various leadership positions, including team leader, office manager, program manager, and in numerous administrative capacities. An advocate for innovative education, he serves as a peer reviewer, publishes peer-reviewed articles, serves on academic committees, and presents at conferences on healthcare administration and military/veteran studies. He serves on the planning committee for the Academy for Professionalism in HealthCare (APHC). He also serves as the Chair of the Publications and Scholarship Committee at the Veterans Studies Association (VSA), where he is also a member of the advisory board. Aside from his numerous responsibilities, he enjoys mentoring, volunteering, and conducting research.
