As a movement professional, Dr. Elizabeth Christopher’s passion lies in educating others about the power of exercise and human performance. An Eastern Kentucky native with over ten years of clinical experience in chiropractic and rehabilitation, Dr. Christopher lives by the mission of “feel better, move better, and enjoy life.” She brings this passion and experience to the classroom, which helps prepare her students to be future leaders in exercise and health. Dr. Christopher is a licensed Chiropractor in Kentucky. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, and a 200-level Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Along with those, Dr. Christopher is a 2022 Blackboard and Anthology Exemplary Course Program Award winner for online course design, a level 1 certified FMS practitioner, a Certified Sports Conditioning Specialist, and a Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist. Dr. Christopher enjoys spending time with her family, reading, drinking coffee, and being outdoors.
