As a movement professional, Dr. Elizabeth Christopher’s passion lies in educating others about the power of exercise and human performance. An Eastern Kentucky native with ten years of clinical experience in chiropractic and rehabilitation, Dr. Christopher lives by the mission of feel better, move better, and enjoy life. It’s this passion and experience that she brings to the classroom that helps prepare her students to be future leaders in the field of exercise and health. Not only is Dr. Christopher a licensed chiropractor in the state of Kentucky, but she is also a 200 level registered Yoga Teacher, a level 1 certified FMS practitioner, an ACE-certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, an ACE-certified Sports Conditioning Specialist, a certified Remedial Exercise Consultant, and an ACSM certified personal trainer. While you may occasionally see Dr. Christopher exercising in the UC Wellness Center, her favorite thing to do is play in her back yard (on the family ninja warrior course) or be outdoors with her husband and children.
