Dr. Eisler has been working with students to study the microbes living in kitchen sponges.  Her research students have presented at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research, Kentucky Academy of Sciences, and Blueridge Undergraduate Research Conference.  She is always looking for new students interested in doing research.

Dr. Eisler is married with two boys.  Additional family members include Charley the cat, Max the dog, and Bob the guinea pig.  Other than the lab, her favorite place to be is out in the garden.
