Dr. Cohen lives in Silver Spring, MD, an adjacent northwest suburb of Washington, DC. He retired in 2023 following a thirty-five-year career as a mergers and acquisitions advisor and business broker. Dr. Cohen also had a prior career as a business entrepreneur and co-owned a chain of ten urban area alternative banking facilities in Washington, DC, and the nearby Maryland suburbs. He enjoys guiding, inspiring, and teaching graduate school students in his retirement.
