Dr. Katherine Y. Brown is an occupational therapist, educator, and leadership content expert committed to preparing the next generation of occupational therapy practitioners. She brings more than two decades of experience across clinical practice, higher education, and community health initiatives, with a focus on leadership development and community-engaged practice. Her previous experiences have included serving as an OTD Fieldwork Coordinator, mentoring graduate students in capstone experiences, and holding academic appointments in higher education. She is a Certified DISC Trainer, Certified Corporate Facilitator, and CPR Instructor.
Dr. Brown has presented nationally and internationally. Her interests include leadership development, healthcare marketing, and empowering students to explore emerging and innovative practice areas that expand the occupational therapy profession. Dr. Brown is committed to preparing occupational therapy students to lead, serve, and make meaningful contributions in diverse practice settings. She believes the world is a classroom and that every student has the ability to contribute.
