Dr. Duarte is an experienced IT Project Manager and educator. He has worked for several Fortune 50 companies such as AT&T and Time Warner along with non-profit (American Red Cross) and public organizations including the DoD.
Dr. Duarte's experience is diverse and extensive and he thoroughly enjoys teaching and learning. He has facilitated hundreds of courses in the Project Management, Business, and IT fields. He has also managed multi-million dollar IT projects for a large public university.
Dr. Duarte enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He is also passionate about soccer and was a semi-pro player in Massachusetts and Portugal. He currently continues to be involved as a coach.
Dr. Duarte is originally from Portugal, but was raised in Massachusetts. He has lived in Portugal (Azores), Florida, and Japan.
