Dr. Paalz teaches leadership at the University of the Cumberlands, specializing in instructional technology and design, ministry leadership, international engagement, and K–12 education. His teaching connects leadership theory with applied practice, equipping students to lead with character, discernment, and effective communication.
In addition to his university teaching, Dr. Paalz serves as an educational technology coach and trainer in a large Georgia public school district, where he supports teachers and administrators through professional learning, instructional design, and technology integration. He is also active in student ministry, mentoring high school students and developing Bible teaching resources. Dr. Paalz serves as a YouVersion Bible App Content Partner, authoring devotional and Bible reading plans published on the platform. He is married with two children.
