Dr. Richards is an adjunct professor and has instructed multiple Information Technology and business communications courses. With close to twenty years of experience in the financial and technology sectors, she made a career shift to academia. She has designed and delivered online courses, guided doctoral candidates, held the position of Business Systems area Chair, and served as a Director of Academic Assessment. 

Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences, certificates in Data Science, Cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things from MIT. Additionally, in 2023, she successfully completed the Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age program at Harvard University. Mina holds certifications in Quality Matters, as well as various certifications in SAP and teaching competencies.
