Dr. Mukaila Akinbola joined the faculty of the Plaster Graduate School of Business in 2021 as an adjunct professor. He is a senior engineer at a US Government agency, with over 30 years of industry experience in leading teams. In addition to his educational background, Dr. Akinbola is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Licensed Professional Engineer, and a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is a member of the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers, American Society for Engineering Management, Association of Leadership Educators, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. His current research interests include skills-based leadership, engineering leadership, and business valuation.
In his spare time, Dr. Akinbola enjoys reading, writing, and listening to Christian music. He lives with his wife and three children in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
