Dr. Rita McMillan’s early career experience includes working as a Systems Analyst for Electronic Data Systems and as an Economist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Economic Research Service where she conducted empirical, economic impact analyses for the Congress and the Environmental Protection Agency for their policy deliberations.
A strong conceptualizer with expertise and a deep commitment to high quality quantitative and qualitative research, Dr. McMillan has several years of academic experience as a Marketing Professor at several institutions where her main areas of interest included Marketing Management and Services Marketing.
Dr. McMillan recently earned a joint Certification in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute and the American Marketing Association and her recent interests include Marketing Strategy and the uses of Artificial Intelligence and other digital applications in Marketing.
Dr. McMillan proudly serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for a local Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) in Las Cruces, New Mexico whose mission is to provde healthcare to marginalized populations.
