Having a diverse background working in Higher Education in both academics and admissions, Shonda enjoys working with students on a daily basis. Originally from North Carolina, she came to University of the Cumberlands as an undergraduate student. After graduation, she became an Admissions Counselor in the Graduate and Online Admissions Office and in January 2016 became the Director. When asked why she likes teaching, Shonda said, “I love making learning fun and helping my students fulfill their dreams.”
