General areas of interest include educational leadership, special education, instructional excellence, and student advocacy. Professional experiences include Director of Exceptional Children for a public school district and a principal for a private school.
Currently working on a research paper titled Post Secondary Transition for Students with Disabilities - How well do U.S. high schools prepare students for what is next.
Twenty years working in special education with ten in leadership positions.
Love spending time with my family, reading mystery novels, and collecting Monopoly games. Own three dogs including a soon to be therapy dog named Tank. Currently live in Northern Kentucky but originally from New York City. A favorite memory of UC was my graduation with my entire family present.
