Emily Garland is an educator and researcher with interests in anatomy, neurology, animal science, and biomedical research. Before joining the University of the Cumberlands, she worked in biomedical research at the University of Kentucky’s Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Research Center, contributing to studies of traumatic brain and spinal cord injury and potential therapeutic interventions.
Outside of teaching and research, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, exploring national parks, crocheting, crafting, and reading.
